TIMEOUT ON-SITE MASSAGE SECURES 3-MONTH CONTRACT WITH ADP/ProBusiness
FOR 6th STRAIGHT YEAR
Offers massage for 600 employees as unique benefit for a job well
done
Sarasota Florida., November 18, 2003 - TimeOut, a leading
provider of On-Site Massage Wellness Clinics, serving San Francisco,
Silicon Valley, San Jose, the East Bay, the Tri Valley and the Central
Coast, announced today that it has secured another 3-month contract
with ADP/ADP/ProBusiness (Pleasanton, Calif.). ADP/ProBusiness is
a leading provider of outsourced solutions for payroll, payroll
tax filing, benefits administration and human resource processes.
Under terms of the contract, TimeOut will provide on-site
massage for 700 employees, fully subsidized by the company as part
of a special benefits program, up 250 employees from when they first
started serving ADP/ProBusiness four years ago.
TimeOut provides corporations with a unique competitive
edge by enhancing the performance of a company's most important
asset-it's employees. TimeOut offers not merely massage,
but is admirably known for creating a complete experience that embraces
all five senses. TimeOut's distinguished 'Platinum' Massage
Clinics provide a premiere on-site wellness event, featuring chair
and or table massage (fully clothed), soothing music, energy snacks,
beautiful fresh flowers, organic fruit, chocolates, aromatherapy
candles and refreshing garden mint and lemon iced spring water.
In addition, a drawing for a personal 75-minute, warm-oil Swedish
and Aromatherapy massage gift certificate is held at each 'Platinum'
event.
According to Kathie Hillier, Benefits Administrator for ADP/ProBusiness,
the company's goal is to be a "Great place to work." "As
a fast growing provider of outsourced employee administrative services
for large employers nationwide, we want to decrease stress and increase
energy for our employees to keep pace with our rapid growth. We
believe in rewarding our employees with activities that are "outside
the box" as in TimeOut's services, when it comes to
a notion of real health benefits. ADP/ProBusiness prides itself on delivering
exceptional service to our customers and we understand the quality
of that service is a direct result of our hard working employees.
Our employees appreciate and respond to the opportunity to take
a little time to relax and refresh at work. We think it's great
for them and great for the company. ADP/ProBusiness recognizes treating
our employees well inspires even greater levels of efficiency and
customer service to our valued clients, our main objective. In addition,
this type of employee 'gifting' is 100 percent tax deductible so
it just makes good business sense."
Studies have shown that happy, healthy employees contribute more
to a company's bottom line. In fact, according to Newsweek Magazine,
scientists are now finding that massage reduces blood pressure,
boosts the immune system, dampens harmful stress hormones and raises
mood-elevating brain chemicals such as seratonin.
In the new era of " performance management", it's easy
to see why TimeOut's Massage Wellness Clinics have moved
from an occasional indulgence to mandatory "smart maintenance"
as employers strive to provide fortitude and balance for their much-esteemed
employees. On-site massage, a health benefit that has become an
important and affordable tool for helping to cut soaring compensation
claims and healthcare costs.
According to TimeOut's co-founder, Mindy Lederman, "We're
seeing an increase in what's been termed 'values-based' businesses."
These businesses understand that ensuring the health and well being
of their staff has a direct impact on the company's success. In
other words, if you're going to maintain your competitive edge,
you need to keep employees performing at their peak. ADP/ProBusiness
is an excellent example of this kind of trendsetting organization.
The company has a track record of taking good care of their most
valuable resource-their employees-and it shows in the overall success
of their business."
In a related announcement, TimeOut's CEO and co-founder,
Robinray R. Rowland reported that PeopleSoft Corporation has also
retained TimeOut's services. Nearly 100 hardworking Human
Resource employees were rewarded with TimeOut 15-minute chair
massage sessions, paid for in full by the company. Rowland continued,
"More and more, companies are recognizing the value of massage
as a convenient, quick and easy perk that not only shows company
appreciation but can also help recruit and retain key talent. TimeOut's
services is an absolute "Win Win" for everyone!"
